Blog Feed Problem

I had a message from Will recently to say the blog link on his site that directs to mine was not refreshing with my latest posts. This is apparent on other blogs as well and I cannot find why. If anyone does know I would appreciate some help. I have noted though if the link is deleted and then reloaded it seems to work again.

Cheers

  1. If you go to your Blogger dashboard, then the Settings for your blog, then click Site Feed, you should be able to control some settings there.
"Allow Blog Feed" should be set to either Full or Short, and I suggest all the other options further down be left blank.

  4. Darrell - I've got mine switched to advanced mode & selected all the options as 'Full', although I guess you will have tried this.

    Have you tried emailing Google?

  5. Here's another option that might work.

Go to your Design tab & in the sidebar 'Add a Gadget'.

In the 'Basics' is a gadget called 'Subscription Links'. This lets us subscribe directly from your site. It may not work but is worth a try :>/

  6. And here's something I just tried which worked for my Blogroll link to your site - entering the Atom feed Url, instead of the basic Url

Has listed your latest post anyway - we'll have to wait for your next one to see if it works.

  7. Thanks for all the advice.

Have tried various combos of settings with varying degrees of success. I've added the subscribe link so will see how that goes.

    Cheers
